When selecting artwork from the Clipart Gallery or web sources, Open Publisher displays a dedicated composite spooler card (op-image-import-spinner):

Viewport Pinned: Attached directly to document.body and centered across the viewport, remaining visible regardless of canvas scroll positions or zoom factors.

Glassmorphic Atmosphere: Renders with a translucent backdrop and hardware-accelerated blur (backdrop-filter: blur(1px)), preventing inadvertent mis-clicks while large assets transfer.

Dual-Tier Network Failover Redundancy
To guarantee asset availability, the clipart ingestion pipeline employs multi-tier fallback routing:

Primary High-Res Stream: Requests print-ready vector assets directly from the primary content delivery network.

Autonomous Proxy Failover: If the primary stream encounters network latency, 404 responses, or corrupt 1x1 error pixels, the spooler automatically reroutes to the thumbnail proxy CDN without dropping the import session.
Instant Canvas Mounting
The moment the asset payload resolves, the spooler cleanly detaches from the DOM and mounts the image onto your active page, complete with aspect-ratio bounding boxes, rotation handles, and full undo/redo history tracking.
Note: Clipart assets automatically retain their natural aspect ratios upon insertion to prevent distortion.
