Export & Print Queue Monitor

Export & Print Queue Monitor

Rendering 300 DPI commercial print files, multi-page booklets, and high-resolution raster posters requires significant processing power. The Open Publisher V5 desktop client introduces a dedicated Export & Print Queue Monitor window that visualizes background rendering, manages output queues, and accelerates export speeds.

Dedicated tearaway monitor displaying active print jobs, rendering percentages, and priority controls.

Independent Monitor Window

Clicking the printer monitor icon in the topbar launches an independent, frameless utility window. You can drag this window onto a secondary monitor while continuing to design on your primary screen, keeping full visibility over large publication exports.

Process Priority Elevation

To prevent heavy exports from being throttled by operating system background schedulers, Open Publisher dynamically elevates its CPU process priority during active rendering. This allocates maximum hardware threading to the rendering pipeline, reducing export times by up to 40% on multi-core systems.

Live Queue Controls

The monitor provides transparent control over your print output:

  • Real-Time Percentage Tracking: View precise percentage progress bars for every page being rasterized, baked, or compressed.

  • Taskbar Synchronization: Live progress percentages sync directly to your OS taskbar and dock icons.

  • Cancel and Pause: Safely halt long export batches without freezing your workspace or leaving corrupt temporary files behind.

  • Custom Teal Scrollbars: The queue window features custom-styled scrollbars designed for high-contrast visibility across dark and light studio themes.

Note: Once an export completes, the monitor quietly releases its CPU priority elevation, immediately returning your computer to normal power consumption.
