Open Publisher V5 gives you flexible desktop controls with always-on-top window pinning, distraction-free fullscreen, and intelligent multi-monitor persistence.

Always-On-Top Window Pinning

When multitasking across multiple desktop apps, you often need Open Publisher to remain visible while clicking inside other software. Clicking the Pin icon in the top-right titlebar controls toggles Always-on-Top mode:

  • Active Pin Visual: When engaged, the pin icon illuminates with a signature glowing teal fill, confirming that the window is locked above other applications.

  • Floating Reference Studio: Keep Open Publisher pinned above web browsers, photo editors, or spreadsheets so you can reference data or drag assets into your layout without losing your canvas.

  • Instant Release: Click the pin icon again to immediately restore standard window layering.

F11 Immersive Fullscreen Mode

When you need complete focus without desktop distractions, press F11 to engage native fullscreen. Open Publisher maximizes your creative real estate by hiding the operating system taskbar and window borders, allowing your pages and rulers to fill the entire monitor. Pressing F11 again (or pressing Esc) smoothly returns you to standard windowed mode.

Window Position & Multi-Monitor Persistence

You never have to waste time dragging and resizing Open Publisher every morning:

  • Automatic State Memory: Open Publisher remembers your exact window dimensions, screen coordinates, and maximized state when closing.

  • Multi-Display Safeguard: If you unplug a secondary laptop display, Open Publisher actively verifies active monitor boundaries on boot and repositions the window onto your primary screen, preventing off-screen "ghost" windows.

  • Omnidirectional Resizing: Precision 36 × 36 pixel corner hitboxes and hardware-accelerated preview frames guarantee butter-smooth resizing with zero screen tearing.
